Is there any student who have graduated XUSOM can help me out with this questions, please?

Since the class of 2007 just graduated, what is the USMLE step 1 and 2 passing rate for XUSOM? Can anyone help me out with the statistics?

What is the residency match result for the current graduates?

Please, I will appreciate anyone's input.

I am myself starting as a MED 1 semester in sept, but I want to know the statistics, so I know what to look forward to.

Please Help!

Just my .02's - go for a different school. If you tell the truth about this school they flame you to death as other former students have found out. I would resolve the student visa issues, loans and such before walking in the door there. Yes, they now may have grads. Most are transfers from other schools. Find out how many have gone from day one to graduation.

You could probably contact the school and/or try to contact the student government to get some leads on graduated students.

Also try to get a REAL account from a REAL student.

Some people are willing to give you their opinion or account of a school, while they've never actually been a student to begin with, happens here a lot. Avoid extremists view focused on negatives they consider the TRUTH. Try to get BOTH sides of the stories. (With every situation, there are ALWAYS 2 sides of the coin/stories.

If people contact you on the down low, be sure to take their TRUTH with a grain of salt, and seek out another opinon to get both sides.
Weigh all the opinions and make up YOUR OWN mind, avoid being swayed by any single account
Read around this forum and get a good feel for certain things.

At the end of the day, remember that no matter what the statistics are, once you make you decision on your own, you have the ability to make your own statistics, your own hard work will determine your own success.

*Sometimes when people speak up to defend, they try and silence them, to allow the negatives to continue*

I look forward to meeting up with fellow Sept Med 1 Students in a few weeks :)
