Man arent you coming in sept ??? shouldnt you know this. Well if you aint coming in sept then the uniform is a Plain White polo collared shirt with khaki pants or khaki shorts. The smaller the logo the better.

How about that new dress code for Miami??!! Nothing like sitting in a classroom for 8 hours in slacks, shirt, & tie.

Well we are in "professional school" so it doesn't hurt to look like professionals. Also, if we were to wear the white polo shirt and khaki pants, it would look like we go to one of the surrounding private highschools (they basically have the same uniform).

I think the new dresscode is a good thing (lets see if I am still saying that in 3 months).

You also have to like the clause "students must be cleanly groomed." I think that includes smelling decent. It's about time someone made that a rule.

I hope that dress code isnt for the entire day. I'm all good for walking to class all neat with a tie and my shirt tucked in, but once the afternoon hrs get nearer you will prolly see me loosening up that tie and belt.

Long call for 16-30hrs in slacks, shirt, and tie is much worse. In retrospect, Miami was pre-training for clinicals.

On the island, you do have to sport the khaki shorts/pants and white polo shirt. You're not supposed to wear flip-flops, but most people do.

Well, since organization at this school is in tip-top shape.. I JUST saw a strip of paper posted downstairs near Dr. N's office above the original email, that was sent to all 4th with the new dress code guidelines for miami, that says "casual/business attire for kaplan classes (does not say tie), and shirt-tie for ICM & CT classes."

It still sucks, but 24+ hour call in scrubs isn't quite as bad on OB.

I've had to wear a suit and tie for the last 10 years......these next 15 months in shorts and polo shirt will be awesome!!

Was going to say, havn't done that properly before, well, since high school actually so it seems like a good idea. Makes us look more professional for sure

plus people tend to ACT more professional when they are dressed up. sounds dumb, but its common psychology.
