Any of you have a good experience at any hospital? which?

specifically, what have your attendings/residents taught you during the first 2 weeks of the rotation?


it seems like the most frustrating part is deciphering the patient records other than the H&P and progress notes.

a 3rd year student shouldn't have to write anything more than a H/P and soap note, right?

I've written just about everything that the doc would write in the chart from orders (admission, transfer, med, etc.) to H&P to anything else not done by nurses.

on smuonline when u click on students, on the left theres a link that says clinical evaluations. They are many on top of many evaluations for many sites. It will take you hours to read them all

i've written everything. depends on your attending. get in good w/ the non-physicians for help w/ the charts.

we're not allowed to write in the chart at our hospital, but then i see the surg students writing everything in the charts.
