Is it ok to go through KAPLAN'S Q Bank 2003 ? I got it from a close friend of mine who is doing residency... Is it outdated for preparing for 2007 exams ? .... I plan to join the USMLE world as well .... Are books like Swanson's , Strong medicine , Crush Step 3 , Washington manual helpful ? Do I need to go through the STEP 2 CK material again ? or STEP 3 KAPLAN material sufficient ?

I am doing IM residency, although I would say that it is very hard to study in residency when you are sooo busy. I use USMLE world question, Kaplan questions and crush step 3. The real board exam is pretty hard, simple question but very difficult to choose the answer(to me it is harder than USMLEworld, Kaplan question is too simple but good for basic knowlege) 2 days with headache, I glad I passed.
I did not use any Swanson or Washington manual, but I have my specialty books and has been study for service exam every year, so I don't know if the only 3 source I used were good for you. So far it helped me to pass step 3
