A highshool student loves to experiment with drugs. He does all different kinds of drugs b/c he loves the different effects - conjunctival injections, increased appetite, hallucinations, euphoria, etc... He loves LSD in particular. What receptor does LSD act on?

d. Risperidone
e. Pralidoxime
f. Ondansetron
g. Cisapride

umm not sure but it is 5 HT-2 and you would give Risperidone.

yes... Resperidone is a 5-HT2A antagonist.

LSD's hallucinogenic effect are d/t it's agonist effect on 5-HT 2A receptors.
