An encrypted scam is no fun. I like to hear other school's problems, it makes mine seem less. I hope that is not the same as the therapist who compares themselves to their clients, so they feel "normal"; or the person who hangs out with ugly friends, so they look more attractive.

Special congratulations from the directors and the faculty to Anil Ambekar for achieving 99 percentile on his USMLE Step 2 exam.

Above mentioned news is published in ASUM website. In the past i read few negative posting about this school. Can anyone explain how could this school produce excellent students in two & half years of existence if they don't have a good program /

just a question, if the school has only existed for 2.5 years, then how can someone go through it and already take the Step 2 exam? the only way this is possible if they transferred into the program, most likely into clinicals. thus, what did All Saints do, other than provide clinical sites?

Chances are they were transfers. Many new schools do that, not uncommon.

yeah but i was just commenting that these students did not receive the bulk of their education at All Saints. Thus, I wouldn't attribute some student scoring really well on the Step 2 that All Saints is a good school.

To do that it will be ridiculous on their part.

Then, how do you measure a school is good. All foreign medical schools
prepare students for USMLE?

Why should you go to big school & pay $ 65000/- for 20 months of clinical
when you can get the same training in SJSM or ASUM for half price.

80 months of clinicals? that's like over 6 years...what are you talking about?

You know that after graduating from schools like All Saints you can get residency in all most all states except Cali and those states that follow that list.

Texas is a case by case thing

NY/FL - only need license for clinical's not residency

so for a few states you are willing to pay 2x-3x the money????

They have graduated 2 classes and most of the applicants that have graduated from Aureus have matched at their program of choice in residency. Recently this year 2 applicants out of 10 pre matched while many more received countless interviews and are awaiting match day.
On another note, the school currently has rotations at a John Hopkins affiliated hospital in Baltimore, called Union memorial Hospital, it also has rotations at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, along with surgical rotations at George Washington School of Medicine in Washington D.C.. As a student at Aureus, I have also participated in 2 projects that are currently being published.
This thread in completely false I reccomend you e mail students currently at rotations, and in residency and find out for yourself. For your information, Dr. Curry, is not a member of our school. As far as I remember, this past class also had some of the highest marks out of any Caribbean school, with many students scoring over a 250/99% on both steps.
Best Regards,
Daniel Naranjo
