70 yo male comes into your clinic with urinary retention, urinary hesistancy, dribbling, and poor urinary stream. Upon examination, you notice an enlarged smooth prostate. You give the patient an appropriate drug. When the patient came in for a follow-up visit 5 months later, he reports improvement in his condition but he also reports new hair growth on the top of his head. E, this is the DOC for BPH. A side effect (or benefit if Pt is a shine-top) is hair growth.
