View Full Version : Studying For The Dat! Any Advice?

hey guys hope all is well,
i am about to start studying for the dat. and was wondering if anyone had any good advice to give me.
like what prep. materials worked well or didn't and what they would have done diff. if could do over again. what to look for etc.
this would be awome if you guys would take the time to tell me. i just flunked the mcat and am kind of nervous about my dat and stressed.

i don't think you really need your old textbooks for the DAT... the science portion of it is not that content based. Unless of course you're a blank slate when it comes a particular subject.

Time would be better spent getting reading scores up, (this is correlated as the best indicator of success in dental school) so schools weigh it heavily... i got a 25 on Verbal, and even though i applied late, i got into every school i applied to (except WVU, stop laughing :)), even with my crappy GPA
