anyone care to share their thoughts on how to beat ol' man w.......? exam numero uno is monday morning. is it best to focus on key words? know every little detail? how are his questions phrased? any examples? what to know for the gross/microscope slides?

Definitely do the Questions in search of answers. Know each bullet under each disease. He gets really detailed in his questions, the "all-except" types. However, the pics are easy points. I remember he had some pics of congenital heart disease and a nutmeg liver.

The Robbins question book is golden. Try to do questions from webpath for each section. Good luck.

yes, in fact if you just memorize each section from robbins review book without even bothering with the explanations, you will do fine on the exam but will pay for it just a couple of months down the road studying for step 1.
