Because the left testicular vein drains in the left renal vein.
Also remember about the tunica vaginalis

why even bother with the obvious. Just know where you are need it and where you can help the most.

    don't forget about penile hypertrophy

it is a rare but much coveted disease.

similar pathology of hydrocele is seen with inguinal hernia as both are due to a persistent proccesus vaginalis.

varicocele of the left pampiniform plexus is more common because
1-the left testicular vein is longer
2-the left testicular vein enters the left renal vein at right angle
3-the left testicular vein opens into the left renal vein opposite the opening of the left suprarenal vein loaded with adrenaline causing VC of the left testicular vein
4-the left testicular vein is compressed by the heavy pelvic colon.it ascends deep to it
5-the left testicular vein sometimes contains fewer valves than the right one
6-the left renal vein is compressed by the left testicular and superior mesenteric arteries
