Is USE NY State approved??? I have nothing but the utmost respect for the school and if this is true congratulations. If this is not, please WOODBRIDGESP, retract your statement...

    NY approval

NO USESOM is not approved in NY, which means you can not do a residency in the state of NY. This limits your opportunities for residencies because NY is IMG friendly and has several residency programs.

Hopefully USESOM will get NY and CA approval soon for the benefit of their students.

Not everyone cares about going to NY or CA but it is nice to have the choice.

You can practice in NY after residency but not CA is you are from USE.

    NY

Currently we are seeking approval for NY. We are allowed to do 12 weeks clinical rotations there. The university pulled our application due to inadequacies that needed to be addressed. They have rectified those issues and are preparing to resubmit the application.
