    transferring

I am currently studying for Step 1 and did my basic sciences at Windsor. Anyways, I was wondering how many people transfer to this school for clinicals. I was hoping to transfer after taking the exam. Anyways, I was wondering if it is possible to transfer to this school?

I think you can transfer to this school...just ask to make sure. However, u have to have your step 1 score done before transfering to clinicals. This school does have a reputation of good clinical sites. Infact, alot of students from other caribbean school transfer to this school just for clinicals. Wish you luck. I don't think u will have any problem.

I transferred to Statia from SABA! LOL. And I am sooo ecstatic! I have loved every minute of it. Their clinical staff is nothing but friendly and very accomodating. Such a welcome change from Saba. You have to have a passing step 1 score before they will let you transfer, but you should call them ahead of time and speak to the clinical department and tell them your situation. They are super friendly and love to have a chat with people. NY is lonely, so call now! LOL....

seriously, i'm so impressed that statia has so much of the west coast covered with their clinicals...and they have a much better selection than some of the "big 3"

    good job statia!

Sint Eustatius accepts transfers from many schools. Also their support of services is very superior to many medical schools (ie. Saba). The only hold back is you have to pass step 1 to start your rotations. But you can transfer prior to writing step 1.
