Applying for 2013 - Can we apply to the state of Florida for residency?

    Advertisements

Hey guys, quick question. I'm applying for the upcoming 2013 match and was just wondering, is Florida good to go as far as applying for residency? I know California and New York are out of the question but I was hearing conflicting stories about Florida. Can anyone who matched or is currently applying for the match give some insight?

Thanks, and good luck to all that are applying this year!

Yes, you can apply to Florida programs. We just can't complete clinicals there.

Thanks for the help, I recently received a residency match list from Ronya and it shows that we can obtain residency in FL.
