Has anybody rotated at Sheppard Pratt for Psych? How was your experience there?

it's purely a psych hospital. great exposure. beautiful hospital. docs are good and you learn. you have to put in the time though. heavy hours.

    What kind of hours?

Hiya! Yeah it seems like a good hospital from what I have read. I am going to start in a few days...can't wait! Any tips? What kind of hours did you put in? Just out of curiousity, did you work weekends as well?

    Just letting everyone know...

This rotation is awesome! Of course in every hospital everyone will have different opinions (depending on the attending/resident they get to teach them) however, I have loved this rotation and would recommend it.

I co-sign! S.P. is a phenomenal hospital, with a well-organized rotation. the hours are pretty light actually...depends on the attending, I guess.
