    Im Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Advertisements

    WWWOOOOHHHOOOOOOOOOO

im back in one piece. the stamina needed is unbelievable, but i think i did ok.

i was quite surprised by the amount of straightforward questions. i felt they were VERY easy compared to the qbook that kaplan gave us. i think they just want to scare you into submission when you do those kaplan practice questions. what was i thinking when i freaked out about MELAS?

in the end, i feel kaplan questions and answers with first aid is the way to study after studying for shelfs in 5th semester. while doing Q&As, write down little tidbits that you learn from each explanation. study you tidbit notes the last day. LOTS and LOTS of tidbits from the qbook were on my exam.

for now, im gonna enjoy life again, have my bachelor party this weekend at gaspirilla tampa, get married in a week and a half, and go on a loooooong honeymoon cruise.

after a month, im gonna pick up first aid wards and get familiar so im not lost on rotations.

congrats. i'm sure you did great.
the car's on fire and there's no driver at the wheel and the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides and a dark wind blows. the government is corrupt and we're on so many drugs with the radio on and the curtains drawn. we're trapped in the belly of this horrible machine and the machine is bleeding to death.

I have a quick question... did ICM help anyone with clinicals starting off, or was it just a whole new ballgame?

    Thanks,
    nagy

Apparently ICM is a totally different class without Dr M...he was truly great at what he did and did a fine job in teaching us the requisite clinical skills.

In speaking today with one of the folks who just got off island, the ICM class now under Dr. G was worthless (in this individual's opinion)...

    Aloha,
