Where Can I find questions for BIostats, Immuno?

    Advertisements

I have searched through the entire library, and I cannot find any book that has representative questions for Biostats and especially immuno.

Does anyone have recommendation as to where I can find them...maybe online?

And are the Biostats questions given by Yoshida similar to the questions within the high yield bio stats book?

know what yoshida teaches, its pretty much what you'll see on step 1. If you can get your hands on kaplan books then read that stuff, also FA has some decent material for biostats.....other than that i wouldnt go nuts

for immuno, try the q-book from kaplan. you can order it on amazon.com. the questions are a little easier than the questions the immunology professors test on but it'll give you a good sense on what they'll test on.

The questions from the high yield biostats book are almost identical to the type of questions on the exam, so just make sure you can do those. Beware though, there are some answers in the book that're incorrect.

Make sure you can work the biostats question FAST. The amount of time you have is too short to finish the test unless you know it cold imo. In my class; the questions at the end were worth more than the first half of the test. Work the last questions first if this is so. 5% for each question at the end and running out of time will kill you.

You know what, just make sure you don't blow it off until the end, you'll be fine.

Dr. Y should give you a handout (or 2) with sample questions, titled quite oddly enough "Sample Questions". Understand how to do evey question; all of the different types of questions on the exam will be represented in this. Some of the questions will be repeated nearly verbatim with only the numbers changed. Try to keep up with the reading of the High Yield book; it is very informative, especially when it seems that Y is unintelligible. Go to her office and ask her questions. Take a friend. Despite her apparent bluntness in class, she wants all of her students to be successful and will try to help you how ever she can...

Immuno questions? There are apparently several sets of old homework assignments circulating (that I never managed to get my hands on last semester) of which 5-7 questions will be repeated on each exam (or so I was told). Again, mastery of the homework is the best advice for success in Immuno. Good luck.
