    May class

    Advertisements

    Hi all,

Could someone explain why entering the may class is generally more beneficial as compared to the fall or the winter class?

    Thanx

like SOE said, it's the smallest of the three classes. you get to meet more people and work more as a big group instead of having smaller groups to work with.

Thank you! Is it true that it will also give you more time to choose residency and study for step 1/2?

May class is the best as far as having time to study for step I and still being ahead of the following fall class for the best clinical spots.

But, in reality, you should just start as soon as you can because if you were to come in the preceding january class, you might make the earlier match year if you hurry, which will save you an entire year in the long run.

For some reason, visibly sleeping and snoring (yeah, geez, thanks for waking me that time Wendy) in class brings the same notice from the profs.
