2016 Acceptance to AUC and ROSS

    Advertisements

I got accepted to the August class 2016 of Ross and AUC. I have looked everywhere to see the 2015 rankings and I haven't found them. Out of the two which is better?

Same thing, look into tuition. ALL CARIBBEAN SCHOOLS are the same, as long as they have proper accreditations, you're good…80% of you being successful depends on YOU, whether USA or Caribbean school!

I was in the same boat

In favor of AUC(In MY book)
The attrition rate was lower at AUC. Your chances to be washed away were higher at ROSS. Some students tell it’s getting easier at ROSS. I am not sure if that’s true. Last time I check you had more chance to go through at AUC.

There were 2 direct flights to Miami, 1 to NYC, 1 to Charlotte...every day. There were 1 direct flight to Atlanta every week. I think some new direct flights have been added. I always like the idea to be able to quit the island fast if I needed to. That’s me…

Life is easier on SXM. You have most of the stuff you are used to in the US… if you are willing to pay for it. We had subways, KFC(3), McDonalds, Burger King Domino and…if that’s important for you.

Last time I check, the tuitions were a bit lower at AUC. Since its now 2 sisters school from DEVRY, the tiny gap might close up.
Our clinicals at AUC is 72weeks. Ross is 84 I think.

    For ROSS
You get to stay ONLY 4 semesters on the island. At AUC you got to stay the 5 semesters.

If you want to rotate in some state as New-Jersey you can with ROSS but not AUC.

The name ROSS seems cooler without the Caribbean stigma as American University of the CARIBBEAN.

For ROSS to have such a long list of people that match, they must do something good.

    ****

I choose AUC for the attrition rate and the direct flight to the US and the quality of life that was a bit easier in SXM.

Find what is more important to you and choose based on that.

I was accepted to both schools, also. I chose AUC and I start in January. I have started a blog on my experience, if anyone is interested.
