Hey - I'm interested in applying to AUC in the near future, but I needed a question answered about the letters of recommendation requirement that I would appreciate if anyone could help me with. The website says "Official letters from a Pre-Medical Advisory Committee are strongly recommended, however, we will accept a minimum of 1 letter from an individual science professor and 1 letter from any individual professor who has taught the applicant. Exceptions to the list of recommenders will be made for applicants who have graduated from college two or more years prior to the application submission date." I assumed this meant you are supposed to send 1 letter from a science professor and 1 letter from a non-science professor. This concerned me because I was planning to use science professors for both of my letters of recommendation. I did, however, graduate from college more than 2 years ago. My questions are:

Am I absolutely not allowed to use 2 science professors for my letters of recommendation given the fact that I graduated from college more than 2 years ago?

If I am allowed to use 2 science professors for my letters of recommendation like I plan to do, how bad will it look? Will it hurt my chances of getting accepted a lot, a little or not at all?

Thanks to anyone who can help me with this question.
