you know... i tried that... what ended happening with me was that i had a nice collection of all the lectures on my computer but there was no force on this earth that could make me listen to them again. i like taking notes... so i stopped taping the lectures. there are a good number of people in my classes that do tape the lectures. i know that some people do it for a backup plan in case they miss something but even then 99.9% of the professors dont mind being interrupted to repeat something. for first semester, i dont see you wanting to record the lectures but thats just my opinion.

    ........

    No, waste of money
Spend your money on my useless History of Medicine text, It can be used as a bug killer.

There's no reason to tape record anything in first semester.

The immuno review in 2nd might be worth recording but you can do that with your laptop(I"ll show ya when you get here).

When you get stateside use it for target practice. I took my developmental neuro book out to an outdoor range, at 50 yards with a 9mm plugged a nice hole smack dead center.
