If it's probably one guest, you probably can get away with it. I'm not sure if there's some fine print in the contract but when I was living in the dorms, I had a guest over for 3 days and had no issues. You might need to get a "guest" pass from the guard shack so they can roam the premises of the campus though.

Thanks! I have chosen my dorm yet, but did you have a single or double? I'm wary of getting a double, just in case my roommate is not cool with me doing that every once in a while (once a month or 2 days...)

Officially, you need to register the guest with the school and I think there's a fee. However, no one ever does that and no one cares. If they're staying for an extended period of time, it may become a problem. But, no one is gonna care if you just have someone over for a couple days. Keep in mind the beds are singles, so there's not a lot of room.

Slevit is right. It used to be $ 20 per day. And there was a maximum of 5 or 7 days per month. Again, thats the official part.

Check with housing dept : housing AT aucmed DOT edu

The beds are very tiny (twin xl), so you might want to consider getting an inflatable mattress.

As said before, you need to register your guest with the housing office (if you want to do things by the book).
