Not looking for a class, just someone to train with about once a week. Light contact, groundfighting, etc. Preferably has their own gloves, shin pads, mouth guard. Anyone interested?

trained in ketsugo jiu-jitsu (brazilian, japanese jiu-jitsu, muay thai)

It never ceases to amuse me when people write in here at VMD about their esoteric time-consuming hobby (usually working out) that they are hoping someone else participates in... But then I was of the opinion that your free time should be surrendered to study.

But maybe I'm just jealous cause I have a BMI of 35

/I do know that Im pretty toasted sitting hre in the airport fter my last residency interview.

It never ceases to amaze me when people with a BMI of 35 talk badly about people who stay in shape. You can't just study all the time! For a lot of people, including myself, working out helps clear your head and get you focused again. I'd imagine that martial arts could do the same. There is usually plenty of time to do other things than study, and I'd argue that people do better who do find time for those things. If you can't take an hour out of your day for something enjoyable, then you're doing something very wrong.

    Mma

There is a MMA club that meets every Friday Night where a few students participate in and train a little bit.
