Accessing the Notes drive in the Library

    Advertisements

I am sitting in the AUC library, attempting to download the slides for MCB 1, Histo, and Anatomy.

I received this address from a classmate:

    172.16.32.111/notes

I also received the username and password (will not post).

Does the notes drive have a history of going offline? I do not even get a prompt to enter in the password - just a "cannot be found" error in my browser...

    Thanks for your help!

just get up and walk to the computer lab....they will configure your computer. the notes drive stinks; its slow and freezes up. i would just take a flash drive to the computer lab and put the notes on there from one of their computers

do you take notes directly on the powerpoint slides in class? (Or are you posting on VMD from class?)

I find the paper notes useful for taking notes on during class....I'm going to try out the method of consolidating my in-class notes to additions in the slides or separate word doc if the graphics aren't needed ---- trying different options for studying here

People who use the computer notes take notes on the slides in Powerpoint. It works just fine. I also post on ValueMD in class. I'm a good multi-tasker.

I don't even take out my laptop in class...

I guess I am old fashioned, but I really like the paper notes to write on while in class. Sometimes the professor says something too fast to type out on the slide...

I figure that the powerpoint slides will help with quick studying...
