    Grading

    Advertisements

    Hey,
    Is the grading system pass/fail or letter grade based?

    Also, I have an interview this Thursday with PL and was wondering if there might be any wise advice available to ensure my May '08 acceptance.

    Thanks!

    It is Pass, Fail, Honors.
    Fail < 69.5
    Pass >= 69.5 - 89.5
    Honors >= 89.5

    You will not see letter grades on you grade reports. Only a P, F, or H.

    For those who are competitive, there is also a class ranking system. You can see how many people you beat out (or are beaten out by) during the course of the island tenure. The only important grade is 70 for passing. Step scores are important as well for getting a decent residency.

    Whatever it takes man. Does you no good if you honored every class and scored a 186.
