I feel like all of the advantages out weigh the disadvantages....any reason why more people don't apply for May...especially with the better shot at good, timely rotations?

May and Jan attract more people who have been out of school and who are more flexible in their start time. Sept tends to have more recent undergrads, since this is the "traditional" start time for the academic year.

I agree, May is pretty nice.

Also should you fail a class and have to stay an extra semester (no one plans on it, but it happens), you are still on target for the same match year.

anybody know what the class is for May compared to Aug/Jan starts? Also, anyone in rotations now that was in a may class?....any issues getting peds/ob in the US? As of NOW I want to end up going peds...mind you this is without rotations and I realize this but my worry is not getting into a US peds core and having to go to the UK to do a core of something I want to apply to for residency!..again I realize I could do electives in peds and I would be fine but...i'd rather do all of my cores in the US ...so yup...run on post...thoughts?

Scheduling is not always the best, but anyone who wants to do peds in the US can. And, having finished half of my peds rotation in the UK, I'd strongly advise people to stay in the US.

WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION ON THIS TOPIC????
    What to do.....???

What is the strategy when dealing with payment deadlines when your accepted in one school but waiting for a POSSIBLE acceptance to another school, specifically AUC. Is it strictly up to if you can afford losing the deposit fee?

The proper place is not the "what are my chances" thread.
