In the year that I have lived here in Pelican I have caught the bridge twice on the way to school. And the only reason that happened was because a mega came in. The bridge during high season has a mind of its own. It goes up at 9, 930, 1100, 1130, 400,430, and 500 and 530. If you leave any time before 900 you are mostly going to be fine. All summer I never once caught the bridge. So dont worry about it just learn to avoid it. During high season if you want to go home make sure you leave before 2 in the afternoon if you live in Pelican cause it can take anywhere from 15 min-1 hr. This stared happening to me more in Dec. Jan. Feb. than other times. I made it a general rule that if I wasnt head home by 2 I wasnt going anywhere til 6. I hate sitting in traffic.

during the regatta, the bridge may also go up around 730 am, so beware, especially if you have a path 2 exam that morning!
