How do AUA students pay for their 3rd and 4th years?

    Hi all,
I have been a long time lurker on ValueMD and SDN and believe I read somewhere that you do not have loans through AUA to pay for your 3rd and 4th years in their medical program, is this true? I am a prospective student who is interested in attending but could only afford going through loans and wondering what the situation was with AUA, particularly in the clinical years of medical school? Thank you guys!

Loans are available. Usually it's the same loan that a student gets when he or she starts. The student remains eligible as as long as they make satisfactory academic progress and don't tank their credit.

Sometimes were able to secure a better loan for existing students and then students would have the option to switch.
