Hi there! I'm currently in the Bridge to MD program. It's pretty helpful and the courses offered are the same ones you'll take in BAS1. I have about a month and a half left of the program then if I pass, I can enroll at AUA for the fall semester.

Hello, I am signed up for the Bridge to MD program as well. Any information regarding the program would help. How are the lectures/quizzes structured? How's the experience of taking the online lecture?

The program itself is supposed to give you an idea of what med school will be like. You have three courses, neuroanatomy, biochemistry and physiology, spread out over the course of 17 weeks. Lecture four days a week, a lecture participation quiz after every lecture, every sunday will be a weekly quiz and at the conclusion of each course will be a module exam. Orientation week will be in Miami and so will finals week. The online lectures have a very similar feel to in class lectures; you can raise your hand and ask questions, converse with your classmates or the class as a whole, set up office hours with the professor, etc. The fact that it's online gives you the freedom of being anywhere to attend lecture. So far i'm enjoying the experience and getting a leg up for the fall semester in Antigua.

Thanks for replying! What is the difficulty level? Is it do-able? Would you recommend it to others?

It's not that bad. Just stick to the material and go to lecture, you'll do just fine. Yeah for those who just couldn't get into school on merit alone and need a chance to prove themselves, this is a great way to go

I did the pre-med program at AICASA and instead of BSEP I am choosing to do this program because the exams weren't fair and I felt they weren't good representations of what was taught. So are the quizzes/exams fair?
