I know that AUA is starting with a new curriculum and year/class structure with its 2 semester/yr starting August 2011. So, what is our timeline now?

Year 1 Basic science -Fall 2011 - spring 2012

Summer 2012 - what to do?

Year 2 Basic science - Fall 2012 - spring 2013

Summer 2013? IRBS and USMLE 1? Semester 5?

Year 3 Clinical - Fall 2013 - Spring 2014

Summer 2014?

Year 4 Clinical - Fall 2014 - Spring 2015

USMLE 2 CK?

Matriculation

When to apply for residency? Will it be in time? Of course taking into account that all grades and steps are stellar.

Can anyone fill in the gap? I feel that it is not right. Will this still be a 4 yr MD?
