Some few questions about your experience at AUA.
Are students supportive of one another and do you form study groups?
Do there seem to be distrations on campus, such as faculty problems, that might impede your studies?
Overall, are you happy with your choice to attend AUA?
Thank you very much for your input. Please PM me if you do not want to post your answers in the forum.

Yes and Yes... med school is ALOT of studying, seriously almost everyday all day, and it gets boring to do it by yourself all the time. Usually the study groups are questions oriented and quizzing each other though so you are expected to have done your reading on your own.

Faculty will only help you, they almost make themselves available to you 24/7. There are a few here and there who are useless, but most will go above and beyond to help you and they really know their stuff. I can think of few examples just off the top of my head of things profs have done for students that you would not get even in the U.S.

Yes and No. I made it through basic sciences in 16 months and scored a 99 on step, all the while I enjoyed caribbean beaches, amazing weather, and good friends. Once I got to clinicals though it seems almost as if I am not in school anymore because I have been waiting 7 months to start (this wait is honestly HORRIBLE, your broke and have no degree.)

Your information is very encouraging. I am looking for a no-nonsense, stable medical school with supportive faculty, and overall student success on the boards. Your description is just that. Thank you for your input.
I will PM you with another question.
