    applying this week

    Advertisements

Hey guys, I'm going to be submitting my application this week for September. Do I have a shot? 3.4 overall gpa, 2.9 sci gpa and tons of extracurriculars, good LORs. Is it too late for September? Thanks.

You should call the NY office to find out the space issue for Sept..as far your application...i think you have a good chance for being accepted as long as you rock your interview..gl

    January 2010

    Hi everyone!
I've just handed in my application for January 2011 on Friday night. I'm waiting for the e-mail that tells me what to do next. I think it's just two reference letters (which should be good), transcripts.
I have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a science GPA of 3.0. Problem is, I spent a year studying abroad and on that transcript, the grades say fail (the school I went to, in another language, you had to have a 75% to pass a course)...but were converted into relatively decent grades at my home school. Will this limit me getting an interview? I hope I don't get shut down before I have a chance to explain :P haha

Also, I just wanted to mention that I love this thread! I don't know anyone doing applications right now (or who has looked into this school) so it's great to have people out there who know/are willing to help!

    Thanks

I know plenty of people who had around a 3.0 gpa that got an interview. So maybe you can explain your case to them then if they ask.
