The comp is made up of retired step 1 questions from the NBME. As for what to expect...it's simply step 1 questions from all subject areas. No one can give you any more 'advice' past that. If you've been doing MLE world questions (or some other hard q bank) you should be fine. And if rahul's method doesn't work for you, I always use the "curl up into fetal position and cry" method...hasn't failed me yet.

LOL. Thank you everyone for reply. Thanx rahul for the trick.

Cyberia - thanx. Actually, that's what i was looking for. As I don't know much about AUA or know N E 1 at AUA, I wanted to see how tests are given. Thanx for the trick, though hope I don't have to use it.

comp was a mix of questions from all the various nbmes

the emphasis mirrors step 1 question distro. focus on path, pharm, physical diagnosis, and pathophysio.

subject breakdown is usually cardio > resp > GI > endo > derm > renal > whatever else. i remember a lot of archaic pooh pooh not really tested on the boards anymore. the davenport diagram comes to mind. there were also a decent # of pictures.
