Hmm, nice, congrats on the acceptance, informal as it is as of now lol. One question though, why take the MCAT if accepted? Unless you plan to turn down the offer, take MCAT and reapply to other schools in carribean/US? Just curious

hey, i was just wondering if yal could give me an idea of what my chances are:

    Cumulative: 3.0
    Science GPA: 3.6
    230 volunteering in healthcare
100+ hours of shadowing a cardiologist

take the MCAT and apply USMD/DO if you're ok with that/Big 4 carib...in that order

Just like Ubuntu said...with that gpa, an mcat of high 20s will get you in some DO school if not an Md school in the US. If u get a 30+ then most definitely MD. GL!

Study for three months or so and take the MCAT...if you don't do well then you always have the Caribbeans option .

buckle down, study hard for the mcat, and stop making excuses for not doing well. (not trying to be a d*ck)

the usmle is a standardized exam, what are you going to say when you have to take that?

dont sell yourself short and take the easy route because you will regret and pay for it later; take the mcat and apply to the better schools because you have a lot of options right now
