    HELP with housing

    Advertisements

I'm a current Med 1 student and adjusting fairly well at AUA. My only issue right now is no running water in my housing unit. I'm at Beachcomber and have not had running water for two days. The only way I can flush my toilet is by filling up a bucket using the little bit of water that is coming out of the bathroom faucet which I have been using this style to take a bird bath. I don't think this is fair since I had to pay $2600 for the semester. My question is would they have allowed me to give them some of the rent money instead of the entire amount. I don't think so. Therefore, why is this allowable. Could someone give me advice as to what to do in this situation because I can not continue like this. Thank you.

Sorry for your troubles. I would suggest you talk to Ms. H in student services. Or just email student services from your email account. They should be able to help you somewhat with this issue.

someone i know had the same problem. but its better to go see them in person. it def is not fair so you should at least try to move out. they might make u move somewhere else and either pay the difference if its more expensive or give u a refund if its cheaper. i say move to utopia for an extra $400 or atleast get a double there and get an $800 refund. either way ur much better off. beachcomber should not have humans living there.
