    Health Insurance

    Advertisements

I have a couple of questions.

In my 'statement of account' form, they have listed a couple of charges, including "student insurance-$279". Is that health insurance? In my estimated cost of attendance document, it says "health insurance-$400".

My acceptance package had the United Healthcare forms, do I have to fill those out, even after I was charged for health insurance already?

I dunno...it's not like the insurance company covers anything anyway...I got stuck with an $1100 bill for all the blood work I had to do for 5th semester. They denied all of it!

The cost is based on age. The COA lists an upper end amount. I don't know about forms--but i don't recall ever filling one out, except checking a box on the registration form.
