The rate they quoted me this weekend was either 7.4 or 7.6% with a 8% origination. Took all of 5 mins to apply online and you do your signature online too. The origination is higher that I'd like, but the interest rate is FAR superior to Ed-Invest.

    Bank of Lake Mills

    Dear Friends,

My son is a second year student at KMCIC, Manipal. He likes to apply for a private loan through BLM. Can someone please tell us the name of the website where he can apply for a private loan. Thanks for your help.

You should call the NY office and speak with the Financial Aid Dept: 212 661 8899.

    Dear Mr. Tipton,

thanks for you reply. I did call and spoke with H A about k's interest in applying for a loan. He sent me the web address for BLM and Ed invest. But none of them worked. Can you please send the relevant loan information about these two lenders to my son's e-mail and also copy to me.

    Thanks

    Jay
