    Taking DPS final exam early???

    Advertisements

I extremely need to take my DPS final exam earlier than scheduled in order to get home for personal/family issues.

Do they allow students to take final exams early for any reason?
    If so, please elaborate.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

    Thank you.

I don't think they will let you take it early..but you should still ask...

Just a hunch, but I'm guessing you'd stand a better chance of hitting the PowerBall. Like Cyberia said, doesn't hurt to ask. All they can do is tell you 'no'.

If you have extreme extenuating circumstances then there is a chance they will let you take it early. FYI a wedding is NOT an extreme circumstance. A family emergency like a funeral for an immediate family member or a memorial service for a spouse is. There are very few ppl who get the exception to take a test early. The circumstances must be pretty dire. I only know ONE person who was a able to get permission to take a test early.

What if it's your wedding? LOL

I would imagine that they would be pretty strict with that stuff. If someone takes it early, they can notify others of what's on it.

I know of people taking tests early, back when I was on the island. Just explain the situation to the Dean of Academic affairs (Dr. G or Dr. L or Dr. B...one of them). I'm sure if its a valid reason, you can reach a compromise
