    NO!

I would not come here again if I had it to do over, nor would most of my friends.

If you have cash things are better, but they still treat you like dirt. Make no mistake: this matchbook medical school is run by snakes.

KV...it might not be the best idea to treat this like your usual "I'm going to shout until I get my way!" style of dealing with an issue. Just a thought.

Tipton: I'm not just saying that. I've said it many times, even when I'm not worked up over a given issue. I wish I hadn't chosen AUA, because of the admninistration. Its like I signed a four year lease on a house I really don't like, and the cost of getting out of the lease is worse than staying in.

That being said: the implication of what you posted seems to me to be that I could be subject to some sort of retribution for what I've said. Is that what you meant?

It nevers hurts to "play the game" a little bit. You never know when you might need a little bit more help from someone in the admin. If you've already pissed in the pool, they might simply say, "Sorry. Not my department." or "The school policy is the school policy. If we make an exception for you we need to make it for everyone."

I'm not implying favoritism per se. But some people are a joy to work with and you want to help them. Others treat everything like an emergency making a phone call or email from them a chore.

I try to help students when I can specifically when Admissions isn't in involved. As a result I step on toes on a regular basis. Not the best habit as you can see. So now I pick my battles more carefully and let other people fight it out: more of an "Isn't this supposed to work differently?" approach rather than "You MORONS! I'm the smart guy here! Listen to me for once!" approach.
