    Help!

Hi guys...I'm super new to this forum but I found it a valuable source to get some good info(IF IT's not running buy people who work for AUA).Anyway I want to what's the deal with this school. I've been going a quarter system my whole life so I don't know how the sememster system works. However on the forums I read that it's 4 semesters(16 monts) on the online and the 5th is at NY or Miami. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Another reason I don't know much about midical schools is that I'm(was)a pre-dental student and I'm still waiting for my school to either reject or accept me. I've got about 12 secondaries but I know it's super hard to get in so I was thinking to come to Caribbean and go to AUA as a med student. What do u guys think a wise choise? I'm really don't want to study for MCAT after studying for DAT.

another question is that is it easy to work in US(NY)or they only take only 0.00001% of people from Caribbean schools?

here are my stats:non sciece GPA 3.8 Sciece 2.9 Overal 3.1. I've a lot of EC, volunteer work in addition of working for a dentist(i know it doesnt matter for med school.) and shadowing doctors at ER of a hospital.
let me know how are my chances to get in for fall '09

Do you have all the pre-reqs?

I thought pre-dental students only had to take 1 semester of Physics?

Your cGPA is a bit low. I would say study/take the MCAT, get the cGPA up a bit, and apply for stateside D.O. Thats what I am doing. (It's hard btw.)

If you dont want to do that than at least study/take the MCAT and apply for AUA or other Caribbean schools. Check out SGU as their the most respected school down there.

Also- Why do you want to be an M.D? Is it just b/c you can't get into Dental school? If that's the case, than you need to have a heart to heart with yourself.

    Good luck.

    O.k.

Honestly, I would say study/take the MCAT, get your cGPA up a bit, and apply for some D.O schools and the "big 4" (SGU, Ross, AUC, Saba.) Their all great programs. If you go below those you'll begin to encounter problems.
