My Chances: Good, Bad, or Ugly?

    Advertisements

Looking for advice! The semester is over, so I'm no longer having night terrors about organic chemistry. However, I am finishing up my application, and was trying to figure out how much sleep I should be losing...

Undergrad.: Graduated cum laude (3.4) with a degree in economics (B.A.).

Pre-Requisite GPA: Somewhere between a 3.4-3.5 (only Organic II remaining).

Work experience: Surgical Assistant (about a year now)

MCAT: N/A (applying to SGU, AUC, and MUA as well, so I'll be taking it this spring)

Disappointment: C in Organic I. I was also taking courses in physics, and upper-level biology, as well as working two jobs. Not making excuses, just providing some clarification for the low grade.

Highlight: Had a midterm GPA (this past fall) around a 0.31 (no joke). FINISHED with a 3.39. BAM!!!

    Any thoughts? Thanks all!

If you do well on the MCAT you should be able to get into one of the top 4.

You have way better stats than me, and I've been accepted.

I think if you get a decent MCAT score, you might have a chance for the top 4 carib schools.

A question that's been weighing on my mind. Just thought I'd ask an impartial audience here.

Saba vs. Ross. If given an opportunity to attend both, which one would you choose and why? Assume a miserable world in which AUA does not exist.

    Thanks again.
