    packing questions

    Advertisements

Is better not to bring food at all, just a couple of dry nonperishable snacks? I don't want to pack unnecessary stuff.

Also are pots and pans available in housing?

I would bring some dry foods, or some food brand that you can't live without. However, you will find everything you need at the grocery store.

Most of the housing units with kitchens should have a full set of cooking ware.

I would suggest you to bring your favourite cranola bars. besides than that, I would not recommend you to bring anything else. every possible stuff for ur need is available @ epi. for pots n pans, dont bother bringing. since this is ur first time, pack something else. as gaspass said, all housing are equipped with utensils. if you dont like/find something thats suitable to u, bring it after 1st term.

also please bring brita water filter unless u planning to stay on bottle water. small cooker if u r fan of eating rice. besides than that i dont remember anything.

    good luck!

Yeah really just bring a few things for those first couple of days till you can get to Epi (the food place).

I had a parent come with, and I filled their bag with a bunch of instant foods though.

Would it be work it to go from the airport (if you're arriving at a decent hour) straight to Epi, grab a bag of groceries (bottled water, bread, PB, jelly, eggs, rice, Rum...etc.) and then head to housing? Maybe pay a couple extra bucks to the driver so you at least have dinner and breakfast taken care of before heading to Registration the next day?

Just an idea. I know I like to have my own provisions at hand when I travel.
