    Mount O - Antigua

Washington Times - Antigua wants to rename highest peak 'Mount O'

Glad to see the local government meeting the needs of the people. Yes we can.

what about making mount watson-crick. from last i checked their discoveries were far more important to the history of the world than O's approach to getting elected - "i promise you this, i promise you that..... change.... change.... change.... change."

and my comment is not meant to be racist. people for some reason love to play the race card.

anyways, enough politics from me. i understand this is a medical school forum sorry.

For some odd reason I don't think they want to rename their mountain because of "O's approach to getting elected"...which btw is exactly how every other elected politician gets elected.

you are right tipton. it is how all other politicians get elected. it disgusts me. anyways... i hope they do not chance the name of the mountain just because of some political election.

Why does everyone keep ignoring the fact that O is half white? He's technically NOT the first African American president of the US, he's the first mulatto president of the USA.

Here is what happened: O is a very good orator, and people started to like him. Then, it became popular to like him. Once it became popular to like him, everybody started to make a point of saying they really liked him. For some reason this was a fad among Antiguans.

People don't like him for any good reason, they like him because it is popular to like him. Pretty much like a movie star or a rock star.

Anyway, he is a politician just like every other politician, and everyone who thinks of him as a deity is going to be terribly disappointed.

For the record: I voted for neither McCain nor O.
