    Ed Invest Questions?

    Advertisements

I finished filing out the online application and had the final papers review by my lawyer.

    He is Concerned about fees.

Look at Page 2/3 D Last sentence. about the margin. The margin is this curious extra. You will not know this so called extra fee, in addition to the prepaid finance amount until you receive the Disclosure statement. How much is that and How much more will that be?

Also, let us say you go to the school and you bow out fast. You do not get that prepaid finance charge back, which around 5 ooo if you were to borrow the 15 thousand.

My lawyer was not sure what you would ultimately owe based on the variable numbers and all of the fees. Not sure... meaning no one could be sure. He understands this very well. The company is not clear.

I am getting another lawyer to look at this. Hopefully she will. To repeat when will I get this disclosure Statement before or after I officially sign?

Also, this particular company Richland started in 2006. It has not been around too long. I am curious about this.

Any help in this matter will be helpfull.

Tipton is admission, not FA...he would not be able to help you. calling FA or Ed-Invest directly is the best way to go.

Are you starting in January 2009? I still haven't begun my loan process, and I am starting in January.

From what I know it is based on prime which is 6-6.5% + ?= your origination fee. ?= based on your credit score. maybe you can ask what it would be before you sign. atleast that's what I would do. Good Luck
