am i allowed to practice ???

hi all,
im an FMG.... with an MBBS degree from India...
i am preparing for step 1 right nw n i am planning to move to carribean after that...
my question is, will i be allowed to practice in d island with my current degree.. n if not can i take up a tutur post in any of the medical colleges..
if yes please let me knw wer to look....
i am newbie ...so please don laugh at my ignorence....

what country do you want to practice in? The Caribbean is a region.

Yeah, Indian MBBS is recognized all over the world, if you have the MCI certfication and have passed the local exams of the specific country.

There are many MBBS doctors in Trinidad & Tobago, get hold of them and ask.Or ask the consulate of T & T.

thnx a million for replying....that was exactly what i wanted to know.

i would prefer to work in st.Lucia , st.Vincent , Jamaica , Trinidad..
but i guess if i dont have much choice i would take up in any country...
please do add to it if you come to any new info.....
