Hey, I'm in room 30. Yeah we should definitely try to get a study group together. I'm in section A, lab section A2.

Ah damn, I'm in section B, lab section B2. We can still study together though. Are you taking all three sessions? anatomy, histo, and DPS?

Hey all, i'll be arriving on the island for september 2008, and i've been reading through allllllll of these pages, and am pretty confident in my housing choices, but if anyone can give me some quick replies to the following, it would be greatly appreciated. Is Amor Villas really top quality housing (yet to see any pics from there so i am reluctant as top-billing that choice)? Also, how would you rank the following: Amor Villas, Barrymore, Trafalgar, Mandalay (also haven't seen pics). I like the pics of Trafalgar by DOC, but how long is the commute to campus in comparison to the rest? Is it inconveniently out of reach with the rest of the student population in other housing? Also, if anyone knows other options that I haven't mentioned above that are great places. Thanks in advance everyone

Amor Villas, Mandalay, Trafalgar are among the best on the list. BTW pictures are there, recently updated
When you choose housing consider cost and transportation. School transportation is CHEAP, but its only available on week days. So if you are going to study in the library, OR overslept and missed school bus, TA reviews on Saturdays and Sundays, it will get costly unless you have a car (also costly!).

Well, at least if you're in the morning section and you oversleep, you can make the 12:45 bus and go to the afternoon class. You'll just have to make up lab some how.

    question about housing

So I recently received my welcome package from AUA and I am getting ready to send off my seating deposit. In a few weeks I am going to send off my housing deposit but the form for the housing deposit is a bit confusing. After reading all the housing posts I am pretty confident on my top three housing but on the housing sheet its asking me my top 3 choices in terms of Groups and whether I want a single or a double. Is there somewhere I can put Mandalay, Traf and AMor, or do I have to send in the $750 first and then I can chose the actually places I want to live in? Thanks in advance

you put down your choices, but as far as choosing, it's not definite. i believe if you talk to the new student coordinator CH, depending on how fast you get your deposit in, you may be bale to live where you want.
