    It is our pleasure to introduce AIMU and it’s programs. AIM-U is an organizational part of AIMU–WAU Center for Medical Sciences. As an Institutional partner of Washington Adventist University, AIM-U’s prerequisite and support programs are offered at the WAU campus in the National Capital Region . Premedical, Introduction Clinical Medicine, BSN completion and MBA ( For Dual Degree Seekers ) . The WAU campus is centrally located at the Historic Takoma Park area near the state of Art Washington Adventist Hospital; WAH is an important health care provider in the National Capital Region. AIM-U school of Medicine is located near the serene Gros Islet area of Saint Lucia. The new generation health care learning facility at St Lucia offers Doctor of Medicine, ADN (Nursing), Diploma in Diagnostic Sonography and few other Certificate programs. AIM-U is recognized and approved by the Ministry of Health-Government of Saint Lucia. The Ministry of Education and Culture confirmed the accreditation for it’s academic programs. The UNESCO (National Commission) executive training programs are offered at the AIM-U. The students who completed their pre- request at the WAU campus will undergo basic science /Preclinical Phase of the MD programs ( two academic Years ) at St Lucia campus, all the successful students will proceed for the clinical Rotation in the affiliated hospitals in USA . The affiliated hospitals in the National Capital Region, Chicago and Atlanta will be assigned for clinical Rotation /Clinical Science phase of the MD program based on the individual option. By virtue of recognition with ECFMG / FAIMER’s IMED, the successful medical graduates of the university can apply for the medical licensure in USA. The international recognition for the university has been confirmed by the World Health Organization (WHO) AIM-U School of Medicine is listed with WHO-AVICENNA Directories. AIM-U is also approved for National Board for Medical Examiners’ for its valuation system.

    AIM-U is a developing new generation school with small number of class size , want to develop reliable program ,it reflects in our partnerships with Govt of St Lucia , Ministry of health and Washington Adventist University and Hospital .

    Premedical , 5 th sem and Clinicals available in Washington Adventist University and hospital .

    5 th sem and clinical clerkships available in Atlanta and clinical clerkship alone available in Chicago .

    As a small class size school it is sufficient to maintain these centers for AIM-U clinical Clerkships .

    this is very interesting and true, I like how you all set the whole thing up, how much is the tution for basic and clinical sciences and are the clinical ACGME approved [greenbook]

    yes, I know the story , was in the island with other school, adventist bought from guys who originally started ,idea is not for MD but for nursing , there were few for MD from adventist premed want to be a nursing focus - Adventist is green or blue ! !!! big QQ nursing Green do you know ...?

In addition to being a NYAM Fellow and member of the Section on Anesthesiology since 1978, Dr. Cottrell is a fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists of Great Britain, and an honorary member of the European Society of Anesthesiologists.
