    Try and Find the Campus

    Advertisements

St. Lucia is notorious for allowing anyone to establish a medical school. Spartan has the ONLY campus and is on the disapproved list of California. Lots of other better choices; avoid this island unless you want to see natural beauty. You will find no campus for this school but there is a hospital. Yossarrian

Many Caribbean Medical Schools are affordable compared to US medical schools. However, make sure you include the costs of travel abroad, travel student health insurance and other miscellaneous costs in calculating the cost of medical school abroad. From here www thedegreeexperts com/online-college.aspx you may get a list of various online medical universities and colleges.

    Dear friends,
if you are planning to go to Caribbean for studies then please avoid this university.
various reasons to avoid this university-
    1. No USMLE track record. (only 6.students have passed usmle since this university became operational but none of them got the residency).
    2. THEY DONT CHARGE YOU WHAT THEY TELL YOU. ( first 2 years of preclinical would be fine.
but, after that they show you the real face start asking you for money and doctors in clinicals are least bothered to teach you not, because they don't know the subject or they are lazy but because this university don't pay them money for ageis.
    3. At the completion of degree they charge you 3000-7000U.S DOLLARS TO GIVE THE DEGREE.
(still by luck if you have all the guts to wait in front of there office for hours at least 20 times)
    4. Owner of the university is a South Indian fellow who call himself Dr.*** but still it's a mystery how he's a doctor when he don't even hold a phd degree talking about M.D for him is a real far goal.
    5. Whole staff of aimu is nothing but a South Indian circus show with a MBA fellow mr.naveen involving too much into medicine programme
his wife miss. Kavitha who is much more interested in giving personal taunts to students and breaching there private life.
    6. No doubt few teachers are amazing in what they teach you but these South Indian people don't pay them the money and always want there fellows from south india to get the jobs.
    7. They have put the wrong allegations on few mind blowing teachers like dr. Kaun mad dr. Frank and ripped there jobs.
    8. So, dear friends remember you are gonna be there with those narrow minded and unethical people who just wanna loot your pockets.
    9. Most of the students are from south india and Nigeria.
    10. No doubt the Nigerians really study hard and fight with every odd of this school to not get there studies affected and students from south india are there because of the false things preached by consultancies back in India stating that they are going to America which is a false promise and after paying heavy amount of fees they can't afford to go back and those who can they don't stay for a day.
    11. Student teacher ratio is really bad and class room population is too high but the funny part is there are almost no North American or Canadian citizens.
    12. Teaching pattern has already changed from USMLE oriented to MCI oriented.
    13. SO GUYS STAY AWAY AND IF NOT WELCOME TO THE PITHOLE AND DONT BE SURPRISED IF THERE IS NO LECTURER FOR 2-3 weeks in a 3 month semesters.
    14. I WAS THERE in this PITHOLE, so just thought of giving a shout to all the people out there stay beware of AIMU.

    THANK YOU GUYS.

Please kindly note that there is nothing "adventist " about AIMU.

AIMU is very good at promising but very poor at delivering.

When I was there three years ago one of the Anatomy teachers got cursed by *** for admitting to the students that there were no cadavers. I was told recently that there has been no new cadavers up til now.

When I was there three years ago a number of students marched out of an exam and walked down the ramp to the Dean's office to complain.

I overheard the dean promising to fix things if the students paid him some money. In fact I recorded it on my cell phone.

Later we were reliably informed that these girls passed that exam because the "registrar" changed the grades. There is solid evidence to prove that this happened.

A few moths later lecturers at the school were denied the priviledge of seeing the answer sheets and grades of their students following exams.

Posts on value Md that tell the truth about the goings on at AIMU are deleted as I expect will happen with this post.

Several students who studied at AIMU when I was there went off to the USA to study. NONE OF THEM HAVE YET PASSED USMLE STEP 1 EXAM & NONE OF THEM ARE IN RESEDENCIES ANYWHERE
