Hello,

Once the student completes their 16-month program in Aruba:

1. How long does it take for the students to come back from Aruba back to U.S.?
2. How long does it take to start Med 5 semester after the completion of Med 4 semester?
3. How long is Med 5 semester?
4. When does the clinical begins after Med 5 semester?

I just want to know what is the time frame and what is the layout of the program once the 16-month program (Med 4 semester) is completed.

Thank you.

Xavier is less competitive because it doesn't have NY, so its really not too late at all..., Apply, you should have good chance if your stats are okay.

Hello,

I have a question regarding the USMLE's and Residency Match. I know XUSOM started in 2003, thus the class of 2007 have graduated recently. Can you please tell me, if possible the USMLE scores of both step 1 and 2 for class of 2007? Also, since this class have just graduated can you tell me the Residency Match result for this class? I just want to see where did XUSOM graduates went for residency.

I know that the foreign medical school is suppose to compete with the American medical school students in terms of getting residency in US. I just wanted to know how hard is it to get residency for the foreign medical students? and whether Do this foreign medical students have a chance of obtaining residency in US or not? I know for me it is a long way, but I just want to know the statistics, so I know what I have to look forward to in terms of whether XUSOM which is fairly recent medical school and there students did made residency match.. I just want to know the procedure or step to obtain a residency. This is the reason I want to know the results of first class graduates of XUSOM. If possible, can you please answer my question, I will appreciate it.

Thanks!

admiision

my question is regarding the students transfering to all saints?

from my research I know that Xaviers gives teri-teri loans. And these loans are actually excellent as the payments can be deffered while ur in school, then why would those students go to All saints were u have to take line of credit......

secondly i had been to a recruiter in toronto who said licensure in texas is possible.....

if u could clear my doubts as I m thinking of attending ur school....

thanx

As far as i have heard, All saints is moving from Aruba not sure as i am not in Aruba no more. Licensure in texas is possible but HIGHLY IMPROBABLE, i belive they work on a case by base basis and you can forget it if your from XUSOM. Check with states licencing board for up to date information.

Does the Xavier Admissions department still respond to this thread?

If so, I have a question, why has it taken well over a month to receive any kind of acceptance package? As I indicated in my emails, I have a lot of loose ends to tie up before packing my bags and heading to another country, therefore, the longer your delay, the more unlikely it is that I will be able to attend the January session.

If you have changed you mind re: my application, then I would like to know your rationale as well, since I am an honor's student with extensive experience working in a medical environment.

If I cannot get in contact with you, or at least get some kind of explanation, would it be possible to get my forwarded information back for use at an alternative school?

Thanks,
Jason Cowan
