aaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllll-RIGHTY then!! So i guess the question is "what advantage is there to going to a WHO-recognized school, if it doesn't in fact affect ur licensure (in the states at least)?" Even if you can get licenced in the states, would u stand a better chance against someone who came from a WHO recognized school?

Also, does anyone know if it'll affect ur licensure in other countries...I wouldn't mind livin abroad one day or traveling to a third world country to do some humanitarian work (eg. doctors without borders), so would THEY care if ur WHO recognized?

We are working on gaining clinical rotations on Aruba in addition to our US clinicals so that students would be more capable of practicing abroad. (By completing the entire program in the country of the campus.)

Where can an Xavier graduate practice medicine? Which states specifically?

Also, how many graduates of Xavier are practicing medicine today? How many are doing their residency in the U.S?

Brand new school....no one knows the answers to those questions or even to its present charter status.

What benefit to students get in attending Xavier? when you can't even practice anywhere?

Well, suppose they have to get some adventurers to go to the school and then try for licensure at some states.

Like buying a new car that has never been driven before...who knows if it will work or not..probably will but no guarantees for the first people who buy it that it isn't going to be an edsel.

As stated before in the INITIAL post of thread, our Charter is complete and signed. You may even have a copy to see personally if you contact the campus. We have established all of our curriculum to obtain liscensure in all the states. Particularly, California is the only state in which XUSOM students are unable to obtain liscensure, until we are granted California state approval. This is verifiable, not up to question. A WHO listing (when confirmed) will solidify the possibility of liscensure for a handful of states which deem it not "impossible", but "very important." (www.FSMB.org) We are continually monitoring our education system to conform to the standards needed for the hardest state, California, helping our student's professional futures.
