I spoke at length with a XUSOM official today and I asked them about the thing that's been circulating with Aruba. The answer I got was this:

Apparently, the government of the Netherlands Antilles has petitioned Xavier to open a second campus in Aruba. From what I understand it will be more selective and will have government backing. According to the source, the building has already been purchased and should expect to be open in Sept. of this year.

awesome! now the xavier aruba peopel can bash the xavier bonaire people who can continue to bash the st james people lol....

...who continue to bash the Windsor people, haha.

Hammering out a few details regarding my admissions. Since I spent most of my undergrad years in a non-science major and only this year decided to switch, I'm getting straight the classes I would need for XUSOM in order to bypass as much of the 4.5 Year MD program as possible.

I'm applying for the May/Sept 2006 class. Will you still be on the island when I arrive?

Heck yeah, Dean!! I will be here if you come in May since I am starting in May too. I can even pick you up from the Airport to save you a load of Cash. Give me a PM when you get the dates hammered out. I will help you out a little.
